Filling my quilty cup at Quiltwalk! Thank you @angelafmq and @quiltingismytherapy for a wonderful Quiltwalk ❤️
This past year has been challenging for me as my full-time job has taken over my nights and weekends. I look forward to returning to quilting in July. This lovely weekend trip catching up with quilting friends has refueled my passion.

I haven’t posted in awhile because I’m working on a custom quilt, but I’m sooo excited for this FMQ challenge by @angelafmq and @quiltingismytherapy which starts today ❤️❤️.

This challenge should help me up my game when FMQ’ing in the negative spaces on a quilt. I’ll jump right in to secondary patterns.

I ❤️ Angela Walter’s teaching style, because she’s taught this type-A perfectionist to let go when FMQ’ing.

I have to finish the custom quilt before I can load this panel up, but I can absolutely use the techniques learned over the next couple of weeks.

Had a wonderful time at the World of Quilts Show! So many diverse and beautiful quilts. This show filled my inspiration cup ❤️

Thank you to the @northernstarquilters quilt for putting together this show every year!

I was able to squeeze in one of my pieced quilt tops during the Christmas break and go to town on the quilting 😜

This is the #girtbyseaquilt that I started 4 years ago. I was searching Instagram and came across these gorgeous, vibrant quilts from a lovely group of Australian makers. Given my luck the sew-a-long was long over, but the pictures were so inspiring that I really wanted to make this quilt.

Thank to the power of social media, this New Yorker reached across the oceans to the lovely @emmajeanjansen and she sent me the pattern ❤️

This medallion quilt was inspired by the different regions of Australia and included different sewing techniques, such as EPP (don’t look at the center corners 🙃) appliqué, curved piecing, and it was truly a joy to make.

Thank you to the talented Australian designers that came together to write this pattern: @talesofcloth ; @emmajeanjansen ; @downgrapevinelane ; @keerajob ; @alyce_on_life ; and @shequiltsalot
